« Yarnia is a great concept.  The shop is filled with thin "singles" (I put this is quotation marks...as the single strands are actually plied).  You pick up to six strands to form your yarn (depending on the desired thickness and look of the yarn).  They have various kinds (wool ...»

« My stepdaughter created a great yarn while we were there -- it turned out beautifully.  We felt very comfortable there, enough to sit down and start knitting my new yarn while they were creating the yarn mix for my stepdaughter.  Yarnia is really a must-visit spot for fiber fiends l ...»

« ...Yarnia may seem scary to the uninitiated but I bought a cone-end a couple of weeks ago to see what it would be like knitting with unplied yarn and honestly, I really love it, and it was not as hard as it looked to me - the end result is an amazing fabric that will leave you hungering for m ...»

« I think you are outstanding with shipping.  ; I've NEVER been unhappy with the packages.  ; (Sometimes I do wonder how you get so many cones in the package since I can't get them back in after I open it.  :)»

«
Yarni a is my number 1 store to purchase yarn through. I love to be able to find yarns made with different fibers and colors and the ability to"make" my own yarn.

You have become my favorite yarn store to buy from. Love all the colors and wool types. I purchase mainly sock weight yarns as I love knitting socks. The yarn I am working on right now, knitting a pair of socks that will go on my etsy store for sale.

Cardboard Cones

As we finish off yarn from the starter cones, we are often left with cardboard cones of various shapes and sizes, that aren't the right fit for the machine. However, they're still perfectly good for other craft projects!

You may choose "new" cones which are only available in one size, but are all identical and uniform in shape and quality; OR you may choose "recycled" cones, which are less expensive, come in a variety of shapes and sizes, and may be marked on the inside and/or worn around the edges.

Don't have any ideas in mind?  Check out these fantastic tutorials on how to make some DIY Christmas decorations out of these cone ends

***Please note: Free Shipping does not apply to cardboard cone orders.  Though the shopping cart may indicate free shipping at checkout, we will have to invoice you after the fact for the shipping charges.  Sorry for the inconvenience!***
